Now that you have learnt about all the apps that are absolutely safe to uninstall or disable, it is time for you to know how. Here are the steps by following which you can successfully uninstall or disable an app from your android phone.
- At first, go to settings in your android phone.
- Look for the “Apps” option.
- You will see a huge list of all the apps present on your android mobile phone.
- Find the app you are willing to uninstall or disable. You will find a “More” option or three-dots on the top right corner. Click that.
- You will see a drop-down menu. Click on the “Show System” option. After this you will be redirected so that you can see the system apps.
- Go through the app list and look for the system app. Once you find it, tap it.
- The app’s info page will open. Click on the “Force Stop” option. You will see a pop up giving you a warning that it might damage your phone. Click ok.
- Then click on the “Disable” option. You will once again see a popup giving you a warning that the other apps might start misbehaving after you disable this app. Click on the “Disable app” option to continue.
- You will see another warning asking you whether or not you want a factory version to replace this app. Click on the “Ok” option. So, the version will be rolled back to its initial version. The app will still remain disabled.
